A battalion group of over 700 Indian Army personnel is participating in the bilateral tri-service exercise 'Tiger Triumph-24' with the US on the Eastern Seaboard from March 18-31. The exercise focuses on enhancing interoperability for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations. The Indian Army contingent includes infantry, mechanised infantry, Para (Special Forces), artillery, engineers, and other supporting arms, showcasing new weapons and technologies. The exercise involves a harbour phase at Visakhapatnam and a sea phase at Kakinada, demonstrating amphibious capabilities and fostering mutual understanding between the forces.
