The BJP in West Bengal has alleged that central forces were not deployed deliberately during the panchayat elections. BJP national vice president Dilip Ghosh criticized the local administration for deploying the central forces to patrol the highways and kept at police stations instead of deploying them in sensitive areas to avoid violence.
