Political analyst Tehseen Poonawalla criticized the language used by Tamil Nadu's DMK minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin, who called for the eradication of 'Sanatana Dharma'. Poonawalla stated that while reforms are necessary, they should be pursued through legislation, dialogue, and conversation, and condemned the use of such language in political discourse. BJP leader K Annamalai also condemned Udhayanidhi's remarks, calling it genocide and accusing him of promoting ideas from Christian missionaries.
