But since that's the way internet is basically every day anyway, we're taking the plunge and reporting that there's a new cat-fronted metal band called Cattera. The band is led by a former street cat called Roope-Shakir, whose owner is Fearless Records product manager Anna Mrzyglocki. "I knew Roope-Shakir had star power from the moment he entered my apartment," Mrzyglocki said in a press release. "I heard his emotion-filled meows and knew he needed to be the front cat of a metal band. It sparked a passion for A&R I never knew I had. People may think Cattera is just another 'industry plant,' but there's real talent here."
