2.2k Views “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane is re-opening Lambda Lambda Lambda! 20th Century have commissioned a “Revenge of the Nerds” reboot (yep, they’ve been trying to resurrect this brand for a while) with Keith and Kenny Lucas (“22 Jump Street,” “Judas and the Black Messiah”) tapped to write and star in the film. The duo – pictured below – will co-write with Alex Rubens (“Key and Peele,” “Rick and Morty”). MacFarlane, whose film work include “Ted” and its sequel and “A Million Ways to Die in the West” produces alongside Erica Huggins. Just a couple of months back we reported that 20th Century (now housed at Disney) had been in contact with a couple of the original players, including Robert Carradine (‘Lewis’), about returning for a new “Revenge of the Nerds” film. This is assumingly that film. If the cast of the ’80s original- and it’s three sequels return – it’s likely they’ll fill the roles of the parents of the new ‘nerds’.
