A shooting on Etnastraat in Amsterdam Nieuw-West left two teenagers critically injured just after midnight on Thursday. One of the two died from his injuries at an area hospital, police said later in the day. The case is still under investigation. Emergency services responded to Etnastraat in the Lutkemeer business park after receiving a report of shots fired at around 12:15 a.m. on Thursday. "Officers then found people with gunshot wounds on both Etnastraat and Lutkemeerweg. Both seriously injured victims had to be rushed to hospital," police said in a statement.
