01/21/2021 Vital Spaces will open a Community Art Closet on January 23, 2021, at the SW Annex on the midtown campus at 1600 St. Michael’s Drive. Similar in concept to community food pantries, the Community Art Closet is stocked with art supplies for all ages and skill levels, available to the Santa Fe community for free. “Creative expression is healing. Now, as more people lose jobs and kids are attending school remotely, art is becoming more and more inaccessible. Vital Spaces is working to change that,” says Vital Spaces Co-Director Hannah Yohalem, “By providing free art supplies to our community, Vital Spaces is helping sustain Santa Fe’s exceptional artistic talent of all ages.”
