BHOPAL: Amid the Covid gloom and smoke from forest fires, here’s a heartwarming tale from the wild. A tiger, last pictured wounded two years ago and feared dead, has turned out to be alive in the Ratapani jungles.
“Woh tiger abhi zinda hai. Not every tiger that disappears from an area should be considered as dead. Tigers travel a lot and they have natural powers to heal their wounds,” said a senior IFS officer, who said that the injured tiger, which vanished from Sehore and Bhopal forest division in 2019 has been spotted again, just 60 km from where it was last seen.
