The Home Depot ‘Retool Your School’ campaign benefits Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) is in full swing. In 2021, they are investing $1 Million in 2021. “This year, 30 HBCUs will win their share of $1,000,000.” As a proud graduate of an HBCU, I look at Stillman College as my HBCU away from home. So many Stillman attributes remind me of my Dear Ole’ Bethune-Cookman. Kudos to The Home Depot because they said they are “dedicated to continuing our commitment, celebrating the legacy and pride of HBCUs.” Get our free mobile app If you didn’t know, The Home Depot has a history of giving towards HBCUs. “Since 2009, The Home Depot has invested more than $3.1 million dollars to update, upgrade, and uplift HBCU campuses.” You know this warms my soul.
