When a student is finally able to live off campus, excitement for living in an apartment or townhouse can have its highs and lows. Rent may be expensive, but at least a student can have their own room and possibly their own bathroom. A student might have to clean a bigger area, but theyâre also able to have friends over without feeling squished together. One of the most popular highlights of living off campus is having the option to take care of a pet. Having a pet is great. Theyâre the best friends who don't talk back, are always there when someone needs them and give a sense of home after a hard day. Many students choose to adopt animals as soon as they live off campus, while many others decide to foster instead.
