Bricklive Ocean phenomenon is coming to Knowsley Safari Park | Chester and District Standard

THE Bricklive Ocean phenomenon is coming to the north west for the first time with 30 sealife-themed hand-built brick statues.
Sculptures that took 215 days to build will be at Knowsley Safari from Saturday, July 10, in the event's first tour since 2019.
Expect marine mammals, fish, sharks, crustaceans, coral and a host of other fascinating life-sized models of all shapes and sizes.
The biggest will be a 4m-long Orca, constructed from more than 220,000 bricks.
Altogether, 1,326,892 bricks were used to create the models - weighing more than 3,317kg, roughly the same as seven hammerhead sharks.
Promoting innovation, interactivity and education through play, Bricklive Ocean will also feature a head-in-the-hole selfie zone and sit-in submarine.
