The expansion plans for Delhi's lone passenger airport include a new terminal, an additional runway, state-of-the-art facilities and an enhanced passenger handling capacity, reported HT. On completion of the expansion project, Delhi airport will be the country's first airport with four runway and the airport's passenger handling capacity will also increase from 20 million passengers a year to 40 million.
