The Grade 6 program includes the Hepatitis B vaccine which prevents serious liver damage, and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine which helps prevent some cancers. The Grade 9 program includes the dTap vaccine which protects against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis; and the meningococcal vaccine which protects against meningitis.
