How deep depends on their savvy utilization of their depth to manage the load on their entire roster. The schedule allowed the Habs the opportunity to play 6 games on the road, followed by a mini break a few more games a break and a few more and a 1 week break. This allowed them to play - analyze; play - analyze and refine and finally analyze and refine and rest before a very tough series of games.
