With global travel now being something we take for granted, it can be hard to picture what life was like in the 1800s. It can be especially difficult to imagine just what life was like for hosts of Wexford seafarers as they boarded ships bound for Romania, tackling huge swells and arriving in a culture that was completely alien to anything they had ever known.
