The officials were present as part of a tax evasion probe against Phantom Films. Pannu, though, never did a project with the now defunct Phantom Films, which was founded by Kashyap, filmmakers Vikas Bahl and Vikramaditya Motwane, and producer Madhu Mantena. The production house ceased operations in 2018.
