A total of 30MW has been awarded to industrial, commercial and residential customers under the rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) programme, BusinessMonitor has learnt. Minerals and Energy minister, Lefoko Moagi said they launched the rooftop solar PV programme in 2020 in line with the government’s efforts to combat climate change and fulfil the international commitment to reduce green house gas emissions.
