May 27, 2021 Share Kartik Aaryan has dropped out of the Red Chillies film being directed by Ajay Bahl. The film, tentatively titled Goodbye Freddie, also starred Katrina Kaif and Kartik Aaryan. The social comedy picture, which was revealed a few months ago, was set to begin production in June of this year. However, with Kartik opting out, it appears that the casting for the film may have to be reconsidered. Kartik and director Ajay Bahl reportedly had creative disputes, which led to the actor’s decision to leave the movie. Kartik was dissatisfied with the finished work because it differed from what had been told to him as a one-liner plot. Kartik has repaid Red Chillies the Rs. 2 crore signing fee for the project.
