Bublitz began working for Paul Goodwin as a deliver boy with Loveland Auto Parts Co. in 1973, according to previous Reporter-Herald reporting. He ultimately convinced Goodwin to open a separate shop exclusively for auto paint, an idea that created the paint store in December of 1981.
