PETALING JAYA: The Sarawak police will handle initial investigations into allegations of misconduct and abuse of power involving its Deputy Police Commissioner, says Bukit Aman. The Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS) had said Deputy Comm Datuk Fisol Salleh would be investigated. JIPS director Comm Datuk Zamri Yahya said Sarawak police would handle the initial investigations. "Because of Covid-19, we cannot simply go to Sarawak, so we let them handle it first and we will send investigators if there is a need for a more thorough investigation," Comm Zamri told reporters after visiting the roadblock at the Kota Damansara toll plaza here on Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
