ROLE PURPOSE:
The Humanitarian Response Coordinator will lead and manage the emergency response for the influx of displaced persons from Myanmar into the Western borders of Thailand. He/she will be based in Mae Sot Field Office. He/she has overall responsibility for providing leadership which produces effective delivery and development/design of emergency Response programmes. The Response Coordinator is responsible for identifying needs and resources and elaborating programme recommendations/partnerships for the emergency response as well as Representation of the CO in government and other coordination meetings.
