BARNSTABLE — Sitting in Barnstable District Court on Monday, Jordan Maddox watched his friend, Leslie J. Ostapchuk, plead not guilty to firearms and weapons charges. Ostapchuk, 30, and Robert J. Perry, 29, both of Hyannis, were arraigned on charges of trafficking between 36-100 grams of fentanyl, trafficking 18-36 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act, possession of a firearm without a license to carry, possession of ammunition and possession of a large capacity feeding device. Ostapchuk was also charged with possessing a Class B drug, and Perry was charged with a firearm violation with two prior violent/drug crimes, according to a criminal complaint filed in Barnstable District Court. Perry pleaded not guilty to the charges during his arraignment.
