(ALI VICOY / FILE PHOTO / MANILA BULLETIN) The conditions imposed on inbound foreign passengers and approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) will commence on February 1, 2021 amid the government’s intensified efforts to curb the spread of new coronavirus variants in the country. “Arriving foreign nationals should have valid and existing visas at the time of entry, except for those qualified under the Balikbayan program under Republic Act No. 6768, the Act Instituting the Balikbayan Program,” Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said in a statement Friday. Roque said inbound foreign nationals must also have a pre-booked accommodation for at least seven nights in an accredited quarantine hotel or facility.
