The sudden decision has put the social organisations and groups in a limbo. On Monday, the ICMR dropped plasma therapy from the COVID-19 treatment guidelines. The guidelines had suggested the use of plasma therapy when the patient had a moderate infection or within seven days of the onset of symptoms.
