However, in recent years, the company has started shifting towards other product categories, like speakers. In 2019, the company announced a partnership with Sonos which resulted in the Symfonisk line of speakers, and it looks like that collaboration is far from over. Advertising In an Instagram Story that IKEA shared, it seems that they are working with Sonos on a new set of speakers, possibly more. According to The Verge, one of the new speakers is a revamped model of the Symfonisk table lamp, which according to the publication will basically have the sound quality of the Sonos Play:1 but will come in the form factor of a table lamp.
