ILLEGAL RAID: At around 5.30am on July 6, my residence in Shah Hassan Union Council of Johi, Dadu, was raided by Gaji Shah Police without reason. The party of seven had no lady police, but searched the household and harassed my family members, especially women, using abusive language. They took away my disabled uncle to the police station, but later released him when the matter was brought to the notice of local media. The relevant authorities, especially SSP Dadu, should look into the matter. Sanaullah Shahani Dadu POSITIVE THINKING: Social comparison can lead vulnerable people to depression because they consider others having more opportunities. These emotions affect their behaviour badly. Social media and advertisements play a crucial role as they show and promote the so-called social standards that everyone does not have. The best way to eradicate social comparison is positive thinking and the realisation that one has to do one’s level best according to circumstances, and not in comparison with others.
