May 03, 2021 THE Municipal Government of Ilog, being one of the active and supportive local government units (LGUs) in the livestock development program of Negros Occidental, has received 97 heads of genetically improved free-range chicken (FRC) breeder stocks from the Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO). The stocks given through the Municipal Agriculture Office on Friday, April 30, consist of 44 heads of cockerel and 53 heads of pullets. Provincial Veterinarian Renante Decena said the dispersal of quality genetics of FRC extended to various LGUs and farmer associations is part of the provincial government's coronavirus disease (Covid-19) measures on helping Negrense families cope with the negative impact of the pandemic.
