Spying something hanging from a tree across the street from the Lakeside post office, a closer look reveals that yes, there is a Santa Claus or at least Santa helpers. Hanging from the tree were several carefully packaged gifts for someone in need - each bag contained a crocheted hat and mittens along with candy canes and hot chocolate. Words printed on a special printed paper read: 'Kind Heart. If you are cold and you need a hug, please take me with you. I will keep you snug. Let me be a reminder as you make your way, someone sends warm thoughts to you this day. Go ahead - if you need warm clothes.
