SAN ANGELO, TX – Dimitri Hernandez has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury in February for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. On December 9th, 2020, Dimitri Hernandez and the victim were incarcerated at the Tom Green County Detention Facility and both were housed in the same housing unit. Hernandez approached the victim and punched him in the face. Hernandez continued to punch, kick, and stomp the victim in the head, neck, and torso area of the body. The victim suffered multiple facial fractures and a ruptured spleen that required emergency surgery to remove.
