In some good news ahead of reports of an imminent third wave, the World Health Organisation on Monday said that India had been offered 7.5 million doses of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine through the COVAX global vaccine sharing programme. The announcement was made by WHO's  South-East Asia's regional director Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh. However, it remains clear when the jabs will arrive in the country as a consensus on the indemnity clause is yet to be reached, sources said.
