Indian Railways transported a total of 1102.17 million tonnes freight till Feb-end this financial year.
Indian Railways' freight loading seems to have made a smart comeback after it suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the national transporter, the cumulative freight loading up to February 2021 for the ongoing financial year has exceeded the figures up to February 2020. Piyush Goyal-led Indian Railways transported a total of 1102.17 million tonnes freight till Feb-end this financial year as against 1102.1 million tonnes till February 2020.
