A COMMUNITY hub has fallen victim to mindless vandalism. The Mancot Community Library group made a post on social media yesterday evening, June 1, after it is alleged children were spotted throwing objects off the library roof on Bank Holiday Monday. A spokesman for the group said: “The police were called last night [May 31] by a kind resident who witnessed children on the library roof. "Not only is this obviously extremely dangerous, but the perpetrators were seen throwing wood from the roof onto the car park below. Images shared on social media shows the wooden shards from a damaged part of the library building – which is on Mancot Lane.
