Having a supportive foundation with the right people in place has been the catalyst for Inglewood United Rugby Football Club’s (IURFC) premier netball teams’ success. The club will feature a team in each premier division semifinal of the Bayleys-sponsored competition on Thursday and Friday nights in Hāwera. Inglewood netball coordinator Maree Schimanski said not only did teams have the right coaches and management, but there was also depth across the club. Having three teams in the premier grades boosted numbers and allowed the club to cover and pull up players when needed, she said.
