Inmate caught attempting to escape Butte jail through crawl space Butte Detention Center and last updated 2021-05-19 21:35:42-04 BUTTE - An inmate at the Butte Detention Center was found attempting to escape from the jail through the walls Tuesday evening. Police allege Jeremy Adams removed the sink from the wall of his cell and crawled through the hole into the pipe chase in the wall.
