Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said the man, who was being held on murder and aggravated kidnapping charges, was on life support as of Friday afternoon. He said investigators were looking into the incident to determine what happened. “We’re hoping he makes a recovery from this episode, but we’re handling it such that just in case that doesn’t happen, we’ll be prepared to handle the rest of the investigation,” Salazar said.
