Korean Ambassador Santhush Woonjin JEONG and UNICEF Representative to Sri Lanka Christian Skoog Ain handing over the consignment of facemasks to the Additional Secretary for Public Health Services Lakshmi Somatunga at the UNICEF Colombo office premises on Monday.
Korean Ambassador to Sri Lanka Santhush Woonjin JEONG while commending the invaluable efforts of UNICEF and the Health Ministry of Sri Lanka to combat COVID-19 said that “Korea will always stand with Sri Lanka in the battle against COVID-19.
Ambassador Santhush was speaking at a ceremony in partnership with UNICEF Representative to Sri Lanka Christian Skoog to officially hand over USD 230,000 worth of COVID-19 face masks to the Ministry of Health.
