Feb 4, 2021 3:34 PM Internal surveys show dissatisfaction from Oshkosh School District administrators with the leadership of Superintendent Vickie Cartwright. More than 75-percent of principals and other administrative staff in the 2019 surveys said they disagreed or strongly disagreed with the statement that Cartwright worked democratically with them. More than 70-percent disagreed with the statement that Cartwright consulted and used their input in decision making. This feedback was provided before the Oshkosh School Board received a letter last month from a group calling themselves “concerned administrators” criticizing Cartwright’s leadership style. Despite the internal surveys, the Oshkosh School Board continued to rate the Superintendent as “excellent” in their position reviews.
