The International Baccalaureate (IB) has cancelled exams across the country because of rising Covid-19 cases. The exams had been scheduled for next month. The decision was taken on Wednesday and heads of schools were informed over email late in the evening. “Following continued conversations with our schools, associations and education boards, the IB can confirm that all IB schools in India will follow the non examination route for the Diploma Programme...,” said an email sent to the heads of IB schools. Three schools — Calcutta International School, The Heritage School and Modern High School for Girls — offer the IB diploma programme (for Classes XI and XII) in the city.
