State Representative Brooke Boden recently helped pass a bill out of the Human Resources Committee to provide resources for the care of brain injury in children. Boden tells KNIA News the bill is one that is important for Indianola and Warren County residents, and something she prioritised this session. “We know that Zac Easter passed away from brain injury and what that did to him. So it’s a bill that focuses on brain injury and asks that occupational therapists have the licensing to provide policies for that extra curricular in-school activities. Expanding those to help make sure that we are watching over our kids.”
