AT least 145 units of farm machineries worth P304 million were awarded to 99 farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs) in Isabela province. The recipients were beneficiaries of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) mechanization component of the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Philippine Center for Post-Harvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech). The recent turnover of the machineriess at the Isabela Sports Complex in Ilagan City was led by DA Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) Executive Director Narciso Edillo; Isabela Gov. Rodolfo Albano 3rd and Vice Governor Faustino Dy 3rd; and PhilMech Executive Director Baldwin Jallorina. All representatives of the six congressional districts of the province also attended.
