Istanbul prosecution launches probe into local cryptocurrency company Thodex - report Cryptocurrencies, bitcoin ANKARA (Turkey), April 23 (SeeNews) - The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation into local cryptocurrency platform operator Thodex, Turkish media reported. The prosecution appealed to personnel for their testimonies on the platform, Anadolu Agency reported on Thursday. At the same time, a criminal complaint alleging 'aggravated fraud' was filed against Fatih Faruk Ozer, the founder and CEO of Thodex, by lawyer Abdullah Usame Ceran. The complaint asked to seize all assets of the cryptocurrency exchange platform, including vehicles, bank accounts, holdings and shares, the agency also reported.
