Jammu: Pakistan-based terror groups are suspected to be involved in what is believed to be the first drone terror attack on the Indian Air Force base near Jammu Airport in the early hours of Sunday. Sources from Intelligence agencies have claimed that the Air Traffic Control (ATC) building and MI 17 helicopters were the targets of the bombings at the Indian Air Force base, but both drones missed their targets.
Jammu and Kashmir Police chief Dilbag Singh said "The attack at the IAF station in
Jammu is a terror attack and the role of Pakistan-based terror groups is being probed.” An FIR has been registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act after two explosives-laden drones crashed into the IAF station at Jammu airport.
