The Center Roughriders were in town Tuesday evening for a district matchup against the Jasper Bulldogs. The Bulldogs, looking for a win in week #4 of district action, had to come from behind to defeat Center. The Roughriders struck first in the second inning when starting Bulldog pitcher Grayson Williams issued three walks and a base hit to Chandler Jones allowing one run to score. With the bases loaded and only one out, Coach Stephen Westbrook elected to bring in Heath Pantoja in relief of Williams to shutdown the Center scoring. Pantoja strikes out the first batter he faces for the second out, then walks the next batter forcing in the second run for Center. This gave Center the lead by a score of 2 - 0 over the Bulldogs.
