Photo: WINA CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – JAUNT has revealed an annual audit of the organization’s funds and resources found former CEO Brad Sheffield “purchased numerous expenses for goods, services, and travel which violated internal control policies of the corporation”. JAUNT PR director Jody Saunders writes they received the final auditor report Wednesday which found “some irregularities” the corporation “found questionable”. Saunders’ statement about the audit says “the total amount of questioned costs could not be determined because program income was pooled with other local revenues”. She writes as audit information started coming to light late last year, the board December 5th asked for Sheffield’s resignation, which he tendered December 7th.
