The Hospital Board of Trustees for the Johnson County Healthcare Center, during their meeting Wednesday night, approved their budget for 2022, which projects a net gain for the year. Business Manger Becky Rodriguez gave the board her final projections for the 2022 budget, after putting in the final numbers from 2021. She projects total operating revenue at $22.7 million; with operating expenses at $24.6 million for an operating loss of $1.8 million. Adding non-operating revenue such as county mill levy funds, non-operating grants, and contributions of $1.9 million, Rodriguez projects a net gain of about $15,000. The budget will be adjusted monthly throughout the year to reflect real numbers comparing them to projections.
