JeM Factionalism may have resulted in killing of Pathankot attack handler Shahid Latif

Shahid Latif, the alleged chief handler of the fidayeen squad that attacked the Pathankot airbase in 2016, was killed in a mosque in Sialkot, Pakistan. Some observers believe that factionalism and in-fighting within Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) may have led to his killing. Latif, who was on India's 'most wanted' list, was also a designated terrorist under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
