KULAI: Johor is developing the Jemaluang Dairy Valley (JDV) in Mersing via its state investment arm Johor Corporation (JCorp).
Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad said JCorp would be looking for strategic partners to invest in the project with a minimal investment of RM100mil.
He said the East Coast Economic Region (ECER) authority has invested about RM70mil for infrastructure development in the JDV.
"The project will take off this year and we are focusing on producing fresh milk at the initial stage," said Hasni.
He said this to reporters after the groundbreaking ceremony of Oji's United Kotak Bhd's second plant in the SME Industrial Park in Indahpura near here.
