​​​​​​​Concerned by spike in Covid-19 cases, Johor Sultan wants state's elected reps to meet and discuss solutions


JOHOR BARU: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar
(pic) has decreed that a meeting should be held involving all state elected MPs and assemblymen in curbing the Covid-19 outbreak here.
His Majesty raised concern with Johor recording a spike in positive Covid-19 cases within the last few days with the state recording 699 cases on Wednesday (May 19).
“Government administrators, including all MPs and assemblymen in Johor, must play a role in ensuring the Covid-19 pandemic can immediately be curbed and at the same time, those affected by it must be helped, ” His Majesty decreed.
Sultan Ibrahim said this a statement, which was posted on His Majesty's official Facebook page here on Thursday (May 20).
