(WDAM) - Two Democrat incumbent City of Hattiesburg council members were reelected to four-year terms, while the Democratic nominee for mayor won’t be decided until April 27. Vanessa Jones and Lakeylah White will face off in a runoff in three weeks for the opportunity to challenge incumbent Hattiesburg Mayor Toby Barker in June’s general election. Jones and White were the top two vote getters in a three-person race in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.
