He didn’t get the memo. A judge had to explain to a young man who admitted to assaulting his lover that the relationship with his victim has ended. Colin Griffiths pleaded guilty to a charge of assault in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court yesterday after admitting that he slammed the woman’s head in a wall, choked and pushed her in the face and put her in a headlock. Griffiths, 24, said he reacted in this manner when the woman started fighting him because he wanted to leave. The judge subsequently asked if the two are still in a relationship to which Griffith responded, “Yes ma'am.”
